Contract to Hire:

Contract-to-hire offers our clients the flexibility to secure a full-time position following an on-the-job performance assessment. This intermediate staffing solution involves hiring a candidate on a temporary basis with the intention of absorbing them into a permanent role after evaluating their skills and capabilities over a specific period. As an employer, you gain significant flexibility in monitoring the consultant’s work performance before extending a formal offer of employment.

Harwin’s Contract-to-Hire solutions provide our clients with the option to hire the candidate after an initial 3-6 months on contract. During this period, clients can assess the candidate’s core skill level, as well as their interpersonal and presentation skills in a work setting before making a hiring commitment.

Our Contract-to-Hire Solutions are based on an hourly bill rate for the contract period, valid until the consultant transitions to regular employment with the company. The bill rate may also be influenced by a minimum number of hours the consultant must work as a Harwin Consultant before conversion. A conversion fee is applicable once the consultant is officially converted to regular employee status with the company.

At Harwin, our candidate interview, screening, and recruitment process mirrors that of a temporary employee, but with a focus on the candidate’s long-term goals, interests, and involvement in the company. Harwin, being an employee-centric company, invests in developing both core and soft skills during the transition from a contract resource to a hired resource.

This comprehensive approach includes:

Contract-to-hire staffing is gaining significant popularity as it creates a win-win situation for both the company and the candidate. This model provides several advantages for the company, such as risk mitigation, low attrition, reduced HR and operational costs, increased return on investment, decreased administrative responsibilities, flexibility in hiring staff for core business areas, and the opportunity to train employees in specific skills.

For candidates, the contract-to-hire model offers opportunities for on-the-job training, potential permanent employment, a chance to understand their potential role in the company, an opportunity to showcase their expertise and skills, and exposure to different environments and industries.
